Kareena Kapoor Khan Recalls Son Taimur Ali Khan Asking If He Was VIP As Paps Clicked His Photos; Actress Says, ‘We Are Being Very Honest With Him’
Kareena Kapoor Khan opened up about her elder son Taimur Ali Khan being constantly photographed by the paparazzi and how they handle the situation
Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan took the world by storm when she welcomed her first son Taimur Ali Khan with her husband Saif Ali Khan. She never stopped the paparazzi from clicking photos and videos of the little munchkin. He became one of the most sought-after star kids in the Hindi film industry. Having grownup in the constant limelight, she recently opened up about her son and revealed how he asks her if he is a VIP for getting too much attention from the paps.
In a conversation with Forbes India, the 43-year-old actress spoke about how she and Saif explain to Taimur why he often gets clicked. She revealed how they are slowly making him understand that it is because his parents are famous. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she told the publication that Taimur is now used to the attention. She added how it is often difficult to tell him to behave himself in front of the camera. The Jaane Jaan actress added, “in a way, we have tried to explain directly to him that they are taking your pictures because your parents are actors, your parents are famous. You are not.” Recalling how the little munchkin often asks her if he is a VIP, she tells him that he is not famous but his parents are. She said, “He keeps asking me that, ‘Am I VIP?’ and I am like ‘No, you are not. May be your parents are… I don’t know. But you are not, you are nothing’. So he is like growing with this to understand that ‘my parents are this. I don’t know why they keep clicking me. I need to do something with my life’. So we are being very honest with him.”
For the unversed, Kareena tied the knot with actor Saif Ali Khan in 2012 and welcomed two adorable sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. Apart from them, Saif has a daughter Sara Ali Khan and son Ibrahim Ali Khan from his first marriage with actress Amrita Singh. The actress has made it her mission to be as involved in her kids’ lives as possible and often takes to social media to share glimpses of the same on her official handle.
